What's Happening at Heart Ridge this Spring

​We Have Three Exciting Events Coming Up at Heart Ridge! Don't miss an opportunity to come to Heart Ridge on a retreat this spring.  The weather is beautiful!  Frogs are peeping, birds are singing, and our brook is rippling.  Come spend some time with nature, Our Lord, and with other pilgrims.
1. Our Lord of the Rings Immersive Study with Joseph Pearce.  Here is a chance to take classes from a college professor on a topic you'll actually love--The Lord of the Rings with all of its hidden Catholic meanings.  But the weekend is more than just classes.  There will be time for hikes, discussions, and some other Middle Earth Fun.  (March 25-27) PLUS--AND HOW COOL IS THIS?  We will be connecting with another Tolkien Conference that is going on in a medieval castle in Scotland.  We're going to zoom in on one of their keynote speakers and say hi to our new friends from across the pond.

2. Treasures of the Church Retreat for Women  This is also being led by a great teacher, Christine Haapala, coming to us from the D.C. area.  She is the author of numerous books, many of them on the rosary.  This retreat will feature sessions led by Christine, as well as time for discussion, quiet reflection, and time spent in the outdoors, hiking or just sitting by the lake.   This is the perfect way to end your Lent and prepare for Holy Week.  (April 8-10)

and 3.  An Ignatian Silent Retreat for Men and Women Do you need some time away to discern or time to renew your commitment to God?  We have a group of lay spiritual directors from the Oblates of the Virgin Mary, Lanteri Center for Ignatian Spirituality in Denver, Colorado who will lead this silent retreat and give one-on-one spiritual direction for whoever would like it. This will be a great weekend to spend in the beauty of nature praying, reading, and just resting in God's presence. (May 20-22)
